I’m Christina Hira and I am a creator of things. My favourite things are cut up poetry, tarot, sipping black coffee and starting way too many projects that I don’t finish.

I don’t have one particular creative outlet, instead I move between different ones at different times. In the past I have spend a lot of time creating blackout poetry, which led to the making of Her Webs: an untangling of faith. It is a collection of blackout poems I created from the Hebrews book of the bible.

Zines are another thing I love to create. I have seasonal tarot spread collection one, a zine for the anxious creatives and one with a few poems on motherhood.

Along with writing poems and drawing, I am also often found pulling tarot cards. I am fascinated at the intersection between creativity and self-reflection. Using art as a way to understand more about ourselves and why we do the things we do. Tarot is a wonderful tool for that. If you would like to know more about the way I read cards, head over here.
